About this book

As a result of a project to recommend standardized sampling procedures to assess occupants' perception of their work setting, an evaluation was conducted of the University of California at Irvine (UCI) Program in Social Ecology questionnaire, a short questionnaire developed through Public Works Canada (PWC) contracts, and the Delphi method. Comments from other survey approaches and the cooperative work done by PWC and Virginia Polytechnic Institute are also reported. Revenue Canada Taxation provided an office facility in which to pilot test the UCI and short questionnaires. A summary of the findings from the field work is provided, as well as discussion on the Delphi method drawn from experience over several years.
